01. What is the regular ticket price?

Our ticket prices aren’t fixed, as they may vary depending on the season, availability, and special promotions. To stay updated on the latest fares, we recommend checking our website regularly. You can also reach out to us via Instagram or WhatsApp for the most current pricing.

02. Do ticket prices change during high season?

Yes, during peak travel periods, ticket prices may fluctuate due to increased demand. This seasonal adjustment allows us to maintain our schedule, ensure smooth operations, and provide the best possible experience for all passengers. 03. What if I need to change my travel dates or cancel my trip?

We understand plans can change! You can reschedule your trip as long as we have seats available. However, changes cannot be made within 48 hours of travel.

Our cancellation fees are as follows:
- 7+ days before departure: No charge
- 3-6 days before departure: 50% of the ticket value.
- 0-2 days before departure or no-show: 100% of the ticket value.

**Cancellations due to force majeure events (e.g., bad weather, volcanic activity) are exempt from these fees.

04. How can I make a reservation and pay for my ticket?

Booking online is the easiest and most reliable option. You’ll get live availability and instant confirmation. Just select your route, date, and enter your details. Payments can be made via credit card or PayPal.

05. Can I book through a local tour desk?

We recommend booking directly with us for the best discounts and accurate, reliable information. Many small tour desks in Bali, Gilis, and Lombok are unlicensed, which can lead to issues like being booked on the wrong boat or losing your money with no chance of a refund. To avoid problems, always book directly with us or through a reputable travel agent. It’s the easiest way to ensure your trip goes smoothly.

Delays & Cancellations

01. Why do delays sometimes happen?

  • Before each departure, we must receive clearance from the harbor master to ensure passenger safety. The harbor master evaluates key factors such as weather and sea conditions before granting approval. The official clearance letter is typically issued 30 minutes to an hour before departure.

02. What happens if my trip is canceled?

  • The Cancellations due to may occur due to weather conditions, operational constraints, or regulatory requirements.
  • If a cancellation happens, we will provide the necessary assistance based on our policies.

03. What happens if the trip is canceled due to bad weather or other force majeure events?

Although it’s a rare condition, cancellations may happen, especially during the rainy season (January–March). If this occurs, you’ll have the following options:

  • Reschedule to another date (subject to availability).
  • Cancel your trip and receive a full refund.
  • Opt for alternative transport, such as a slow ferry, with a partial refund based on costs. Land transport will be provided in Lombok, and our staff will assist you throughout.

Onboard services & Policy

01. What facilities are available onboard?

We prioritise your comfort with:

  • Relaxing, spacious seating .

  • Air-conditioned cabins.
  • LCD Television.
  • Onboard toilets.
  • An experienced crew fluent in English.

02. What safety equipment do you have onboard?

Your safety is our top priority. Our boats comply with International Safety Management standards and are equipped with:

  • Life jackets and rafts.
  • Distress flares.
  • Ship-to-shore radios.
  • Fire-fighting equipment.
  • EPIRB (Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacon).

03. Can I sit on the sun deck?

Yes, when sea conditions are favorable. However, for your safety, you may be asked to come inside by the crew.

04. Can I bring pets onboard?

Unfortunately, pets are not allowed.

Baggage Policy

01. How much baggage can I bring on board?

  • Up to 25kg for checked-in baggage (of usual proportions)
  • 1 hand-carry bag up to 7kg.
  • The total baggage allowance per passenger is 32kg.

02. Are there any restrictions on who can travel?

Our trips are not recommended for:

  • Pregnant women.
  • Elderly or infirm passengers.
  • People with heart or back problems.

**Insurance only covers passengers up to 65 years old, but travelers outside these conditions can still board after signing a disclaimer. 

03. What should I do if I get seasick?

For a smoother journey, we recommend preparing ahead if you're prone to seasickness. Taking motion sickness medication at least 30 minutes before departure can help, along with simple tips like focusing on the horizon and sitting in a stable area to stay comfortable throughout the trip.

Travel Preparation

01. Which departure point is best for me?

Our primary departure point in Bali is Padang Bai, the best choice for most travelers. However, if you stay on the islands, you can also conveniently catch a ferry from Nusa Penida or Nusa Lembongan.

02. How long is the journey to the port?

Travel times vary depending on pick-up points and guest numbers. Morning transfers from Central Bali to Padang Bai typically take around 1 hour depending on the traffic of the day.

03. What if I have a connecting flight later the same day?

To avoid stress, we strongly recommend traveling a day before your flight. Peak seasons can be unpredictable, and last-minute arrangements might not be possible.

04. Do you offer hotel pick-up and drop-off?

Yes, we provide private shuttle services in Bali for an additional cost, depending on your location.

At Ekajaya Fast Ferry, we are pleased to offer private and shared shuttle services in Bali (not including Nusa Penida and Nusa Lembongan) to make your journey even more convenient. Whether you’re traveling alone, with a group, or as a family, we have options to suit your needs.

Private Shuttle Service

Our Private Shuttle is perfect for those seeking a more personalised experience. Available for up to 4 passengers, we recommend a maximum of 3 passengers for optimal comfort. The shuttle will pick you up or drop you off directly at the harbour, ensuring a hassle-free transfer to and from your journey with us.

Sharing Shuttle Service

For those looking for a more budget-friendly option, our sharing shuttle service is available with a maximum of 3 passengers per vehicle. Each shuttle has a maximum of one stop between your pickup or drop-off location and the harbor. This ensures that your journey remains quick and efficient. For example: If you’re staying in Kuta, the shuttle may pick you up at your hotel and make one stop to pick up another passenger at Seminyak before heading to the harbor.

Pricing

Prices for our shuttle services vary depending on the pickup and drop-off location. Please check with our team or on the booking platform for specific rates.

Please note: All of our shuttles only offer transfers to and from the harbor. We do not provide shuttle services between point A to B, such as from hotel to hotel. For more detailed information on shuttle routes and pricing, please contact our customer service team or check during booking.

05. What about transportation in Lembongan, Gili Islands, or Lombok?

  • Gili Islands: No motorized transport; horse carts (cidomo) are available.
  • Lombok: Getting around Lombok is convenient, with several transportation options available. We recommend checking with your accommodation, as many hotels offer shuttle services or can assist in arranging a reliable pickup from Bangsal Harbor or Senggigi Harbor. Alternatively, you can find taxis, private drivers, or ride-hailing services to ensure a smooth and hassle-free journey.
  • Lembongan/Penida: Visit our office, and we’ll assist with finding ashuttle.

06. What if I don’t know my pick-up location yet?

No worries! If you’re arriving or departing from Padang Bai, just let us know your pick-up location at least 24 hours in advance, and we’ll help arrange your transport. If we don’t receive this information in time, we may be unable to secure your transfer. Feel free to reach out if you need assistance—we’re happy to help.
